One this page — your home page — you can have an animated logo and a personal introduction video file. In the personal intro, you should talk about yourself, and your qualifications — make the viewers like you. 🙂
Typically, you don’t want more than about 500 words — certainly, no more than 1,000. Make it easy for your visitors.

Remember, I’m an English teacher, not a web developer. I will do my best, and you can make two revisions.
1. Step 1. Set up your domain. (I will need your password to build your site. You can change it when I’m finished).
Your domain will be your website’s address.
You can create a new domain, use one you already own.

Step 2. What basic colors do you prefer?
Step 3. Send your logo, if you have one, one jpeg format. Otherwise, I will make a generic one for you.
Step 4. Send a 2-3 minute video, via dropbox or google drive, or the link to the video on your YouTube channel, if you have one. If you have trouble sending, let me know.
Step 5. If you don’t want to send a video, send a headshot — jpeg format.
Step 6. Send text for your pages, You are responsible for proofing, but if I have any questions, I will ask.
Step 7. I will upload your site to your new domain. Often, it takes 24-48 hours for a new domain to propagate through the internet. We have no control over that. I will try to upload your site within 48 hours, but it depends on my teaching schedule.
