Congratulations on deciding to improve your English fluency. Applying to my ESL Program is a two-step process. First, I invite everyone to take my Placement Test. This is not a pass-or-fail type of test. It is simply a way to determine your current fluency in grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Then we can best plan your lessons to get the fastest and most enduring results. In other words, this helps us get the most for your money.

After the test, I will review it and email a detailed analysis to you.

Step two is a video chat. With this, you can ask any questions, I can explain my process, and where we can further determine your needs and goals.

Generally, students get the best results the longer they take lessons. The minimum enrollment period is 30 lessons and the basic fee is $45/lesson. However, not everyone requires the same length of time to achieve their goals. Consequently, we have a monthly payment plan that allows you to take up to 8 classes monthly for an average fee of less than $38.  That’s a 15% savings over the basic hourly rate.

You don’t enroll for a specific day and time. You pay a retainer that allows you to register for the coming month up to two weeks in advance. In this way, you have flexibility. All my students are adults, and unexpected things arise — work, family, children, etc.

Once you schedule a class, no one else can use that time, so we try to keep changes and cancellations to a minimum. Of course, if you need to make a change and do so more than 24 hours before a scheduled class, there is no charge.

Based on your test results and our video chat, I will outline a tentative curriculum to serve your immediate needs. However, the curriculum is not permanent. Depending on your progress, we will modify the lesson plan to best fit your evolving needs.

How do we get started? What is the first step toward increased English fluency? Give your email address to me, and I will arrange credentials for you to take the Placement Test. While the test should only take about 90-100 minutes, you can take a couple of breaks. However, once you start the test, you must complete it within three days. After that, your credentials expire.

The cost? If accepted, your retainer is $300 per month. You pay in advance for lessons each month, but if you need to skip a month, you can do so. Please advise me if you need to take a leave of absence.

IMPORTANT:  Your monthly retainer is NOT refundable and unused classes are not carried forward to the next month, so please be certain that you have the time available before you make your monthly payment.  Also, a month is not a specific month of the year.  It is 30 days.  Your month begins on the day you make your first monthly payment and renews every 30 days until you cancel.  You must cancel within five days before the new month to avoid new charges.

Your first monthly payment acknowledges these terms.
